{"id":3163,"date":"2022-05-17T14:59:59","date_gmt":"2022-05-17T14:59:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agencecarrieres.ca\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=3163"},"modified":"2022-08-30T14:46:53","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T14:46:53","slug":"building-maintenance-technician","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/agencecarrieres.ca\/en\/job\/building-maintenance-technician\/","title":{"rendered":"Building Maintenance Technician"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Pointe-Claire, QC<\/div>\n<div>Salary: STARTING AT $23\/Hr.<\/div>\n<div>Full time, Permanent<\/div>\n<div>Monday to Friday 7H00 to 15H00<\/div>\n<div>40H\/week<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>We are looking for people for industrial maintenance in Pointe-Claire.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Tasks and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Perform preventive maintenance and repair work <strong>(upon request)<\/strong><br \/>\nEnsure the proper functioning of the center&#8217;s equipment (waste compactor, dock door, cardboard press, battery, hooks etc.)<br \/>\nEnsure the maintenance and proper functioning of the various systems (electricity, heating, plumbing, piping, air conditioning, ventilation, fire protection)<br \/>\nAnalyze and adjust these different systems and ensure their compliance with building standards;<br \/>\nMaintain the HVAC, plumbing, security and electrical systems;<br \/>\nPerform general maintenance such as carpentry, minor repairs and other more or less complex work;<br \/>\nRespond to calls from the dispatcher such as: temperature discomfort, water infiltration, fan noise, ballast, blown breaker, faulty outlet etc;<br \/>\nRepair and maintain buildings, sanitary facilities and perform simple mechanical work on a daily basis;<br \/>\nImplement the procedures and work methods established by the building;<br \/>\nPerform all other related duties.<\/div>\n<div><strong>Desired Skills :<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Building knowledge or apprentice building mechanic or any related specializations with relevant experience is accepted;<br \/>\nGood knowledge of all plumbing, garage door repair, basic electrical, glazing, painting, masonry, carpentry, tiling, etc;<br \/>\nPossess a facility for manual and general work;<br \/>\nAbility to operate rolling equipment (an asset);<br \/>\nBe in good physical shape;<br \/>\nHave a good stamina and dexterity for manual work;<br \/>\nSpoken and written language: French (Mandatory).<\/div>\n<div><strong>Experience :<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.<\/div>\n<div><strong>You must have :<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Your basic tool bag;<br \/>\nYour boots or shoes with steel caps; (refunded after 3 months)<br \/>\nYour work pants.<br \/>\nWhat we provide you :<\/div>\n<div>Sweater;<br \/>\nCoat;<\/div>\n<div><strong>Benefits :<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>After 1 year, 3 weeks vacation.<br \/>\nCompensatory leave<br \/>\nGroup RRSP<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>AGENCE CARRI\u00c8RES; Our agency, Your career, Multiple opportunities *<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>*Only selected candidates will be contacted. *<\/div>\n<div>Hiring is conditional upon successful completion of a reference check, criminal check and credit check.
