Summary:<\/b><\/p>\n
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration<\/p>\n
We are a privately held company offering portfolio management, financial planning and accounting services.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n
– Perform accounting for various investment fund companies by analyzing account information – full accounting cycle.<\/p>\n
– Validate invoices, accounting entries and get them approved before payment<\/p>\n
– Accounting for foreign currency transactions<\/p>\n
– Responsible for monitoring the cash flow of several companies<\/p>\n
– Preparation of books and financial statements at month end and quarter end<\/p>\n
– Prepare quarterly client and consolidated reports<\/p>\n
– Prepare year-end files for the annual audit<\/p>\n
– Perform year-end closing in the accounting system<\/p>\n
– Produce various monthly, quarterly and annual reports<\/p>\n
– Various administrative tasks<\/p>\n
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:<\/b><\/p>\n
– DEC in accounting<\/p>\n
– 3+ years experience in a comparable position<\/p>\n
– Proficiency in MS Office suite, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel<\/p>\n
– Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP and Quicken an asset<\/p>\n
– Mastery of the full accounting cycle<\/p>\n
