Duties and responsibilities :
\n– Exterior maintenance;
\n– Interior maintenance;
\n– Miscellaneous work (may subcontract);
\n– Maintain properties by making repairs, contracting landscaping and snow removal companies and enforcing occupancy rules;
\n– Responsibility for 3 buildings in Pincourt and other locations to be confirmed;
\n– Coordinate and plan the maintenance schedule of the 3 buildings;
\n– Adjust the work schedule according to emergencies and if necessary, advise his superior.
\n– According to the established schedule, washes, disinfects and cleans the corridors and common areas;
\n– Removes garbage, recycling and furniture;
\n– Maintain a high standard of sanitation
\n– Maintains clean and tidy maintenance rooms and work area;
\n– Stores and maintains all equipment and makes repairs as needed. Ensures that equipment is in good working order;
\n– Strips, waxes and polishes floors;
\n– Keeps MSDS sheets up to date as required;
\n– Ensures a safe working environment.
\n– Notifies the appropriate persons as soon as possible of any defects that may be hazardous. In the event of an emergency, must make decisions to secure the building.
\n– Performs any other duties as requested by his\/her supervisor or as required by his\/her duties.<\/p>\n
Desired Skills:
\n– Available after hours (emergency evenings and weekends);
\n– Good judgment, analysis, attention to detail;
\n– Very good interpersonal skills;
\n– Ability to work with minimal supervision;
\n– Bilingual in French and English;
\n– Must have a driver’s license and own a vehicle (an asset)
\n– Professional diploma in general building maintenance (an asset)
\n– Sense of organization and priorities
\n– Versatility
\n– Analytical skills and good judgment
\n– Sense of ethics and good customer relations
\n– Willingness to make a physical effort<\/p>\n
Experience:
\n– Must have a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position.<\/p>\n
