A Warehouse Clerk (Forklift Operator) must:<\/p>\n
Create a professional atmosphere for customers
\nRespect their core values and code of ethics in all interactions
\nWork carefully and efficiently as a team player
\nKnow how to operate a forklift and other mechanical handling equipment
\nBe courteous, friendly and build relationships with customers and vendors
\nPrimary Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Warehouse Clerks (Carists) are responsible for counting, checking, receiving and putting away products from suppliers and products returned by customers. They prepare, pack and ship customer orders. Great attention to detail ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Load and unload trucks
\nMoving and stacking materials
\nTransferring goods
\nPerform general maintenance duties in the warehouse or production area and other assigned tasks
\nFollow guidelines and procedures for operating forklifts
\nUse warehouse management software
\nReceive \/ process shipments
\nPerform forklift inspections, minor maintenance and repairs as needed
\nEducation and Experience:<\/p>\n
High School Diploma
\nOne year or more experience in a warehouse environment
\nKnowledge of products sold preferred
