management of major new real estate projects to good use?<\/p>\n<p>Following strong growth, our client, a major real estate developer and general contractor renowned for its multi-unit residential construction projects, is looking for a <strong>SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER<\/strong> to work primarily on the construction of multi-residential projects in the Greater Montreal area;<\/p>\n<p><strong>THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Permanent position offering a salary between $85,000 &amp; $135,000 + minimum 4 weeks vacation + bonus<br \/>\nPleasant work atmosphere and great team!<br \/>\nEstablished for over 20 years, with more than 150 million multi-residential projects built in Montreal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, monitor and control construction budgets;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare specifications and calls for tender;<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and negotiate subcontractors and suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and negotiate letters of intent and contracts;<\/li>\n<li>Lead kick-off meetings, coordination with subcontractors and site meetings;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in and\/or manage detailed design with consultants to prepare quality plans that respect set scopes of work, budgets and applicable regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Work with consultants to resolve construction issues;<\/li>\n<li>Review, comment on and approve shop drawings of all kinds;<\/li>\n<li>Hand sketch construction details;<\/li>\n<li>Creative approach to problem solving;<\/li>\n<li>Site support for subcontractor coordination and planning, problem solving, etc;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure transfer of information to site for proper coordination and understanding of design intent;<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up customer modifications with site and subcontractors;<\/li>\n<li>Manage leasehold improvements for commercial customers, if required;<\/li>\n<li>Approval and coding of invoices and preparation of monthly statements<\/li>\n<li>Manage and follow up on customer customizations and color choices;<\/li>\n<li>Produce monthly reports on budget monitoring and project profitability<\/li>\n<li>Ensure electronic filing of ongoing project documents;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and control drawings, shop drawings, directives, plans, site instructions, deficiencies, etc;<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for implementing and enforcing company health and safety policies;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation, follow-up and control of schedules;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the completion of deficiencies and responsible for after-sales service;<\/li>\n<li>Other various related tasks linked to the project management department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS REQUIRED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 7 to 10 years&#8217; experience in a construction project management role(s) (multi-residential).<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in construction engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture or equivalent (Asset) or relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience in multi-residential development (Asset)<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of AutoCAD &amp;
