For many years now, the management office has accompanied the family in the development and realization of their objectives. In particular, the office offers portfolio management, accounting, financial planning, tax strategy and governance services from a completely independent, local perspective.<\/p>\n

THE ROLE:<\/p>\n
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the incumbent will be responsible for the bookkeeping of investment companies and will participate in the preparation of year-end files. Our client is looking for a motivated individual who is keen to learn and grow with us over the long term in this role as a full-time accounting technician.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities:
\n\uf0a7 Perform accounting for various investment fund companies by analyzing account information, including:
\n– Billing
\n– Calculation of interest on loans
\n– Calculation and monitoring of investment costs in the public and private markets
\n– Bank reconciliation
\n– Analysis of general ledger accounts
\n\uf0a7 Validate invoices and accounting entries and obtain approval prior to payment
\n\uf0a7 Prepare cash flow monitoring tables for several companies
\n\uf0a7 Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closing financial statements.
\n\uf0a7 Assist in the preparation of year-end files for the annual audit.
\n\uf0a7 Produce various monthly, quarterly and annual reports
\n\uf0a7 Various administrative tasks<\/p>\n

\nOur client is looking for someone who is meticulous and quick at data entry, with good organizational and time management skills. This person must be resourceful, a good team player, rigorous and analytical, fluent in both spoken and written French, and eager to learn and develop within our company.<\/p>\n
Training and qualifications
\n\uf0a7 College diploma in accounting (DEC)
\n\uf0a7 2 years’ experience or have completed an internship in a similar position
