DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ensures the smooth running of the Receiving & Dispatch department Ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices in the department
\n– HACCP and SQF standards
\n– Receiving and shipping procedures
\n– List of approved suppliers
\n– Allergen and safety procedures
\n– Wood pallet inspection procedure
\n– Rotation program; batch traceability
\n– Perform and complete documentation related to SQF programs.
\n– All other related tasks<\/p>\n

Liaise between transport logistics, production, quality and customer requests<\/strong>
\n– Plan department activities
\n– Delegate and assign tasks to employees under his\/her responsibility
\n– Ensure compliance with transport schedules set by the Logistics Manager
\n– Participate in and plan (where possible) transport flows
\n– Enforce truck drivers’ instructions
\n– Be involved in the department’s improvement process
\n– Ensure that products received meet company and customer quality standards
\n– Ensure quality, operation and safety
\n– Note and report any anomalies<\/p>\n

Plan and ensure the quality of work of personnel under his\/her responsibility<\/strong>
\n– Adheres to SQF and HACCP standards
\n– Ensures that the tasks of receiving\/shipping clerks are carried out according to schedule
\n– Ensures adequate training for staff
\n– Follow-up of training schedule with Logistics Manager
\n– Forklift driving
\n– Other<\/p>\n

Takes over some of the Receiving\/Shipping Clerk’s tasks in their absence and\/or as needed.<\/p>\n

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN THE IDEAL CANDIDATE<\/strong>
\n– Knowledge of Microsoft software
\n– Good physical condition and resistance to cold
\n– Meticulous and good sense of priorities
\n– Forklift driver’s license required
\n– Ability to analyze and solve problems;
\n– Good negotiator, results-oriented;
\n– Demonstrate leadership and work as part of a team;
\n– Food processing and distribution: 3 to 5 years (Desirable)<\/p>\n
