Our client, a 4-decade-old general contractor specializing in private and public building projects, is looking for a Site Superintendent for a public hospital project.<\/p>\n
Under the supervision of the General Superintendent, your mandate will be to participate in achieving the completion objectives of our construction projects.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities :
\n– Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on assigned job sites.
\n– Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications and schedules.
\n– Effectively manage human, material and financial resources on site.
\n– Collaborate with work crews, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality of work.<\/p>\n
– Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations.
\n– Resolve problems and conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
\n– Foster a team culture based on ethics, collaboration and excellence.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and profile r
\n– Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Superintendent in the construction industry (Ideally in public hospital or institutional projects).
\n– Solid knowledge of construction practices, building codes and regulations.
\n– Ability to manage various site participants and demonstrate leadership skills
\n– Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
\n– Project management and team supervision skills.
\n– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
\n– Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.<\/p>\n
