Are you an experienced Site Superintendent<\/strong> looking to work in a structured, stable, and people-focused environment, with well-organized multi-residential projects?<\/p>\n

Due to sustained growth, our client \u2014 a real estate developer and general contractor<\/strong> \u2014 delivers both in-house developed and built projects<\/strong>, as well as external public and private mandates<\/strong>. They are looking to add a Site Superintendent<\/strong> to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure the successful execution of projects across the Greater Montr\u00e9al area.<\/p>\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\ud83c\udfd7\ufe0f Site Management & Supervision \u2013 \u2b50 Primary Focus<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Oversee daily site operations<\/strong> and ensure proper project execution.
\u2022 Plan and coordinate construction activities in accordance with project schedules.
\u2022 Supervise subcontractors and on-site teams<\/strong>.
\u2022 Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and schedules<\/strong>.
\u2022 Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues.
\u2022 Maintain a strong, consistent on-site presence.<\/p>\n

\u23f1\ufe0f Scheduling & Coordination<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Develop and update work sequences and construction schedules<\/strong>.
\u2022 Coordinate deliveries, inspections, and critical project milestones.
\u2022 Work closely with Project Managers<\/strong>, consultants (architects, engineers), and suppliers.
\u2022 Participate in site meetings and ensure proper follow-ups.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\uddba Health & Safety<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Enforce health and safety regulations<\/strong> on site.
\u2022 Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
\u2022 Act promptly on any unsafe conditions or incidents.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccb Documentation & Communication<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Prepare site reports (progress, deficiencies, corrective actions).
\u2022 Document changes and site-specific issues.
\u2022 Maintain clear, professional, and proactive communication with all stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\n

PROFILE REQUIRED<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2022 5+ years of experience<\/strong> as a Site Superintendent.
\u2022 Strong background in multi-residential construction<\/strong> (public and private projects an asset).
\u2022 Solid understanding of site operations and construction sequencing<\/strong>.
\u2022 Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications<\/strong> (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical).
\u2022 Strong on-site leadership, organizational skills, and autonomy.
\u2022 Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
\u2022 Fluency in French required; functional English an asset.
\u2022 Comfortable with basic site technology and reporting tools (Excel, email; Procore an asset).<\/p>\n
