Our client, a well-established general contractor with over 40 years of experience specializing in private and public building projects, is seeking a Construction Project Manager<\/strong> for various institutional and commercial projects.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Take full ownership of projects under your responsibility, ensuring profitability and quality delivery<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Plan, coordinate, and execute projects while ensuring client satisfaction and proactive risk management (scheduling, technical issues, change orders, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage human and material resources, including team staffing, procurement of materials, and contract negotiations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Work closely with the Superintendent to establish and maintain project schedules<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Oversee work compliance and manage warranty-related requests<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      University degree in Construction Engineering or a related field, or a College diploma combined with equivalent experience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Approximately 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in institutional construction projects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong strategic decision-making skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Excellent prioritization and organizational skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and project schedules<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
