More than ten years ago, I founded Agence Carri\u00e8res<\/strong>, a recruitment firm based in Quebec.Over the past decade, I’ve learned that recruitment isn’t just about matching a CV with a job offer. Every hire is a human story<\/strong>. It’s a pivotal moment for the candidate, and often a turning point for the company.<\/p>\n\n

Today, I’m launching a new project:\ud83d\udcc5 a 90-day challenge<\/strong>, during which I’ll be sharing my learnings, tips and behind-the-scenes insights into being a recruiter and agency leader.<\/p>\n\n

As a headhunter and executive, I see that many Quebec companies are experiencing the same challenges:<\/p>\n\n

  • costly vacancies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • hard-to-reach passive candidates,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • lengthy processes that scare off the best profiles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    My goal with this challenge is twofold:<\/p>\n\n

    1. Offer practical recruitment advice<\/strong> to HR managers and business leaders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. To show the reality of a profession that is often misunderstood: that of recruiter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      1. An empty position costs more than a good recruitment<\/h3>\n\n

      Every month of unoccupied shifts generates losses: lower productivity, overloaded teams, dissatisfied customers. A well-executed mandate can limit these impacts.<\/p>\n\n

      2. Top talent doesn’t apply<\/h3>\n\n

      The majority of quality candidates are already in place. It’s up to the recruiter to approach them, convince them and build the relationship.<\/p>\n\n

      3. Recruitment is a partnership<\/h3>\n\n

      This is not a transaction. It’s a relationship between the recruiter, the company and the candidate. Working hand in hand is the key to lasting results.<\/p>\n\n
