Summary
We are currently looking for a Mechanic for their plant located in Montreal East.
Main responsibilities
- Repair and maintain static and rotating equipment;
- Establish and maintain a preventive and predictive maintenance system;
- Update the activities and transmit all relevant information from the plant operation to the foreman;
- Participate in the elimination of all sources of pollution on the plant’s territory;
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the work area;
- Respect the work procedures in place and follow the health and safety standards in the workplace;
- If necessary, he/she may be called upon to support other maintenance or operational employees in their work.
Requirements
- Possess a DEP in industrial mechanics or a DEC in industrial maintenance, or the equivalent;
- Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in the petrochemical field;
- Possess a minimum of personal tooling;
- Knowledge/experience with: conventional alignment, laser alignment, assembly, gear pumps, gear boxes, mechanical seals, centrifugal pumps, lobe/screw compressors, bearing installation, packing replacement.

- Full time, Monday to Friday
- 7am – 3:30pm
