Our laser bending department is looking for a team leader who will work in collaboration with the production foreman as well as the operators and programmers (5 employees). The department consists of 2 press brakes and a laser cutting machine (fiber optic).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement production planning made by the foreman for 2 CNC press brakes and 1 laser cutting machine ;
Distribute daily tasks between operators to optimize production;
Adapt to priority changes in orders;
Resolve problems encountered during production (drawing errors, tool/machine breakage, customer override, etc.);
Interact daily with the production foreman;
Participate in the improvement of work methods and manufacturing processes with the team;
Support the laser and bending team when needed and/or replace an operator in case of unexpected absence;
Make the purchase requests for raw material (sheet for the laser) and different consumables for the laser and folding (gas, nozzles, etc.);
Maintain the order of the work spaces on a daily basis;
Perform all other related tasks required by his/her immediate superior or in connection with the job.
Desired skills and requirements:
DEP in precision sheet metal work, tinsmithing, machining or other related field or relevant work experience.
At least 5 years of management experience (planning, employee management, supervision, etc.).
At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing / fabrication field.
