SUMMARY
Our client, a company specializing in the sale, installation and repair of heavy-duty garage equipment for over 35 years, is looking for a COORDINATOR for its SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
DESCRIPTION
The coordinator will be responsible for scheduling service technicians. Take incoming calls from customers and identify their need for service calls. Create work orders & quotations. Follow-up on customer calls, administrative projects, ensure health/safety cohesion with customers and all other administrative tasks to assist in the smooth planning of the service department.
More specifically, your duties will include
- Schedule technicians
- Schedule with customers
- Support operations
- Take service calls & all service-related requests from customers
- Maintain up-to-date service software & equipment sheets
- Complete & send warranty claims to manufacturer.
- Optimize daytime operations and manage assignment changes as needed
- Communicate effectively with technicians, suppliers and customers
- Follow up on problems, changes and modifications to operations.
- Sends work orders & quotations.
- Follow-up with customers following interventions *(inspections, maintenance, service calls).
- Effectively resolve all issues impacting customer service.
- Assist in project administrative follow-up
- All other related tasks
DESIRED PROFILE
- 3 years’ experience in a management/administration/coordination position for a service team or department
- Electromechanical / mechanical experience (Asset)
- DES, DEP, DEC, or other relevant studies
- Bilingual (a must!)
- Resourcefulness, autonomy and attention to detail (key to the position)
- Experience with the Office suite and Quickbooks (Asset)
- Organized & good sense of priorities
