Role & Responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the National Sales Director, Mkt & Innovation, the Sales Manager is responsible for promoting the sale of our products in cutting centers, affiliated stores, regional banners, kitchen designers, contractors or any other of our client’s retailers. His role will be to manage the accounts of the territory, and mainly, to develop a new clientele. This position requires regular travel across Maritimes Provinces & Quebec.
MAIN TASKS:
Related to sales/customer relations:
- Ensures adequate representation and solicitation with current and potential customers in order to be the customer’s first line & point of contact.
- Maintaining good business relationships.
- Seeking new customers and achieving sales targets.
- Assist in the collection of outstanding customer accounts for which he is responsible.
- Targets customers in accordance with company objectives.
- Settles conflicts of any kind with customers.
- Negotiates agreements with major customers.
- Controls and monitors approved budgets.
- Encourages the promotion of the company’s customer orientation.
- Is on the lookout for and researches new products/markets and outlets
Related to administration:
- Actively attends sales meetings.
- Provide weekly and quarterly reports of its activities within the prescribed deadlines.
- Participates in the preparation of the budget.
- Appropriately uses sales tools such as the CRM (Sales Force) and enters Customer Information therein.
- Assists the order desk and customer service.
- Sees to the respect of the policies of return of goods, acceptance of credit, discount, transport policy and term of payment.
- Assist other departments with customer needs (Production, Transportation, Customer Service, Major Account Manager, Mkt, Innovation, etc).
What we are looking for:
- Sharp skills in prospecting and conclusion of an agreement;
- Maintenance of good interpersonal relationships;
- Recognized for its customer orientation;
- Available to travel regularly in his territory;

- Sales training or equivalent;
- 5 years of experience as a sales representative;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience with renovation centers and big box stores an asset;
- Have a car and a valid driver’s license.

WHAT WE OFFER:
- Base salary between $70,000 & $80,000 / year depending on your experience
- Performance bonus ranging from 30% to 40% of your salary paid quarterly
- Mileage allowance (you’ll need to use your own car)
