YOUR ROLE:
Prepare parts orders and have them approved by the shop manager or his replacement before placing the order.
Follow up orders with suppliers, date of receipt, backorders, etc.
Unpack parts, label them on arrival and place them in the right locations.
Verify conformity of goods received with those ordered, and record receipt in the computer file.
Recover parts under warranty, group them together and ensure that the necessary documentation for claims is associated with them.

PREREQUISITES:
High school diploma or experience
Two years’ experience in the automotive parts industry
Class 5 driver’s license (mandatory)
Forklift operator’s card (an asset)
Knowledge of parts names or basic mechanical knowledge (an asset)
Sense of responsibility and good physical ability
Computer skills (an asset)
Excellent teamwork skills
