About Our Client
Our client is a well-established law and notary firm with over 90 years of experience, known for its excellence, stability, and people-first culture. They are currently seeking a Paralegal (Legal Technician) to join their corporate law team at the Saint-Hyacinthe office.
Your Responsibilities
In collaboration with the firm’s lawyers and notaries, you will be responsible for:

📚 Reviewing and updating corporate minute books

🔍 Conducting legal searches (RDPRM, land register, etc.)

📄 Keeping corporate records up to date: resolutions, annual reports, federal, provincial, and extraprovincial filings
-
🏢 Preparing documentation for incorporations, organizations, and acquisitions (federal and provincial)
-
📁 Assembling closing books
-
🔄 Assisting in corporate reorganizations
-
⚖️ Supporting the litigation department with procedural documents

Desired Profile

DEC in Legal Techniques (Paralegal Studies)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate law (an asset)

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Client-service driven and detail-oriented

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
