💰 Hourly wage: $30 to $32 depending on experience + 2 to 3 weeks of vacation
About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Welder to join the team of one of our clients located in Terrebonne. This company specializes in the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of heavy equipment components. This permanent role is ideal for someone who is autonomous, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
🔧 Welding & Fabrication

Perform welding on various metal parts (steel, aluminum, etc.)

Fabricate custom parts based on specific repair needs or client requests

Repair metal structures such as frames, machine arms, and other components
🛠 Maintenance & Coordination
-
Contribute to preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical components

Collaborate closely with mechanics, welders, and supervisors to coordinate repairs and projects
📦 Safety & Inventory

Follow all health and safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Monitor spare parts inventory and report needs to the procurement or logistics team

Maintain a clean and safe working environment and adhere to standard procedures
Candidate Profile
🎓 Education & Experience
-
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Welding – required

Welding certifications (CWB, FCAW, SMAW, etc.) – considered an asset

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
🧠 Skills & Qualities

Strong knowledge of welding techniques and ability to read technical drawings

Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and internal combustion engines – an asset

Team player with autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail

Must have your own toolbox
