For over 35 years, the company has specialized in the sale, installation, and maintenance of heavy-duty garage equipment, providing comprehensive and personalized service to its clients.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to senior management, the Business & Operations Analyst is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing the company’s operational activities while integrating a business analysis component. In addition to overseeing daily operations, this person will analyze processes, data, and key performance indicators to recommend and implement strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management

Supervise all operations: sales, logistics, installation, after-sales service, and maintenance.

Ensure the planning, coordination, and optimization of human and material resources.

Oversee compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
Analysis and Continuous Improvement

Evaluate and optimize operational processes by identifying bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities.

Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data (KPIs, costs, productivity, team performance).

Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical reports for management.

Recommend and implement data-driven continuous improvement solutions.
Collaboration and Change Management

Work closely with sales, finance, administration, and customer service departments to align objectives.

Support the future implementation of new technological tools or an ERP system, train teams, and ensure follow-up.

Lead strategic projects from design through to implementation.
Desired Profile

Experience: 5–10 years in operations management, including experience in business analysis or continuous improvement, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical distribution environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

Key Competencies:

Strong leadership and strategic mindset.

Excellent analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.

Solid understanding of business processes and ability to recommend actionable solutions.

Comfortable using QuickBooks or a similar accounting system to collaborate effectively with the finance team.

Interest and ability to participate in the future implementation of an ERP system and/or data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.

Assets: Knowledge of lifting equipment, Lean Six Sigma certification, project management experience.
Position Benefits
