Are you an experienced Site Superintendent looking to work in a structured, stable, and people-focused environment, with well-organized multi-residential projects?
Due to sustained growth, our client — a real estate developer and general contractor — delivers both in-house developed and built projects, as well as external public and private mandates. They are looking to add a Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure the successful execution of projects across the Greater Montréal area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🏗️ Site Management & Supervision – ⭐ Primary Focus
• Oversee daily site operations and ensure proper project execution.
• Plan and coordinate construction activities in accordance with project schedules.
• Supervise subcontractors and on-site teams.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Maintain a strong, consistent on-site presence.
⏱️ Scheduling & Coordination
• Develop and update work sequences and construction schedules.
• Coordinate deliveries, inspections, and critical project milestones.
• Work closely with Project Managers, consultants (architects, engineers), and suppliers.
• Participate in site meetings and ensure proper follow-ups.
🦺 Health & Safety
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Act promptly on any unsafe conditions or incidents.
📋 Documentation & Communication
• Prepare site reports (progress, deficiencies, corrective actions).
• Document changes and site-specific issues.
• Maintain clear, professional, and proactive communication with all stakeholders.
PROFILE REQUIRED
• 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent.
• Strong background in multi-residential construction (public and private projects an asset).
• Solid understanding of site operations and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical).
• Strong on-site leadership, organizational skills, and autonomy.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in French required; functional English an asset.
• Comfortable with basic site technology and reporting tools (Excel, email; Procore an asset).
