Role Overview

The Drill Press Operator participates in the fabrication of welded mechanical components, operating drill presses and other shop equipment while performing in-process and final inspections.
Key Responsibilities
🔩 Machining Operations
• Operate drill presses according to drawings & tolerances
• Prepare parts, adjust settings, and perform drilling operations
📐 Technical Drawings & Quality Control
• Read & interpret mechanical drawings
• Perform dimensional & visual inspections during and after machining
🛠 Versatility & Production Support
• Operate other shop equipment (saws, punch presses, presses, etc.) as required
• Coordinate with production team to ensure a smooth workflow
🧽 Health, Safety & Organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
