Reporting to the Building and Mechanical Maintenance Manager, your duties will involve carrying out various repairs, installations and modifications to machinery, as well as follow-up and preventive maintenance. All in compliance with HACCP/SQF and CNESST standards.
Duties:
Maintain electrical, electronic and mechanical components and systems
Locate and repair mechanical problems
Carry out general repairs and basic building maintenance;
Perform preventive maintenance and execute work orders sent by other departments;
Perform work on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems;
Carry out various maintenance projects as assigned;
Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs and diagnostics, and make the necessary corrective adjustments.
All other tasks
Skills sought
DEP or DEC in electromechanics;
Experience in meat or food processing an asset;
Good verbal communication skills;
Autonomy and ability to take initiative;
Ability to prioritize and observe;
Physical stamina to work in a refrigerated environment (4°C);
Good physical condition
Responds to various service calls following breakdowns occurring during production.
