Why join us

Want to assemble, wire and commission conveyors and automated systems you’ll be proud of? Our client (~45 people) is a family-run company that values teamwork, work–family flexibility, and genuine enjoyment at work. We deliver, we learn, we improve — and yes, we have fun doing it.

What you’ll do

In the shop (plant)

  • Read and interpret plans, diagrams and schematics.

  • Assemble and wire automated systems: servo motors, photoelectric sensors, solenoid valves and related components.

  • Contribute to the layout of small electrical panels, assemble/modify, and finalize (labels, nameplates, etc.).

  • Fabricate, assemble, align, disassemble and move conveyor parts (frames, supports, drive modules, belt alignment, etc.) using hand and power tools.

  • Prepare all required materials for installation and suggest design improvements to engineering.

At client sites (field)

  • Set up work areas per specifications and OHS requirements.

  • Install electrical panels, conveyors and machines; support commissioning.

  • Test, adjust, troubleshoot and repair as needed; perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.

  • Operate forklift and aerial work platform (with valid certifications).

  • Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all OHS procedures.

What you bring

  • 1–3 years relevant experience in conveyor assembly/wiring or automated systems.

  • DEP in Electromechanics (or equivalent).

  • ASP Construction, LOTO, and valid cards (forklift/aerial platform) required.

  • Own toolbox.

  • Strong French and functional English.

  • Valid passport and willingness to complete a background check.
Assets: safety circuits, panel wiring, C licence (hours where applicable), RCA certification (if applicable).

Compensation & benefits

  • Competitive pay, commensurate with experience (internal reference range ~$28–$34/hr depending on profile).

  • Vacation: 2 weeks (flexible scheduling).

  • Profit-sharing after 1 year (reference period Oct 1 – Sept 30, paid before Christmas; amount varies with results).

  • Employee referral bonuses, company events, on-site parking.

Travel & per diems (as needed)

  • Assignments mainly by car (Toronto / Québec corridors).

  • Same-day return per diem: $40.

Schedule & environment

  • 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., 40 hrs/week.

  • Team culture of support, respect, work–family balance, and pride in quality work.
