Summary

We are currently looking for a Mechanic for their plant located in Montreal East.

Main responsibilities 
  • Repair and maintain static and rotating equipment;
  • Establish and maintain a preventive and predictive maintenance system;
  • Update the activities and transmit all relevant information from the plant operation to the foreman;
  • Participate in the elimination of all sources of pollution on the plant’s territory;
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the work area;
  • Respect the work procedures in place and follow the health and safety standards in the workplace;
  • If necessary, he/she may be called upon to support other maintenance or operational employees in their work.
Requirements

  • Possess a DEP in industrial mechanics or a DEC in industrial maintenance, or the equivalent;
  • Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in the petrochemical field;
  • Possess a minimum of personal tooling;
  • Knowledge/experience with: conventional alignment, laser alignment, assembly, gear pumps, gear boxes, mechanical seals, centrifugal pumps, lobe/screw compressors, bearing installation, packing replacement.
