Our client, a well-established general contractor with over 40 years of experience specializing in private and public building projects, is seeking a Construction Project Manager for various institutional and commercial projects.


Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of projects under your responsibility, ensuring profitability and quality delivery

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects while ensuring client satisfaction and proactive risk management (scheduling, technical issues, change orders, etc.)

  • Manage human and material resources, including team staffing, procurement of materials, and contract negotiations

  • Work closely with the Superintendent to establish and maintain project schedules

  • Oversee work compliance and manage warranty-related requests


Qualifications

  • University degree in Construction Engineering or a related field, or a College diploma combined with equivalent experience

  • Approximately 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in institutional construction projects

  • Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong strategic decision-making skills

  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills

  • Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and project schedules
